If you win your category I will let you know and you'll get a link to a winner banner; otherwise, I won't bother you again.
Is not that im completely tired of seeing spock/kirk (might be canon idk but im tired of fanbase complaining that uhura is a bitch and stuff like that OTL) But watching spock/uhura DAMN i didnt see that coming.. it work the chemistry but im afraid that in the next movie something might happen.... idk im kinda paranoic...I just hope to see them together
No prob AND seriously >_> why they have to be closed-mind? i mean ITS A REBOOT this movie....
I think agree with you about them but well most of all the yaoi fangirls said that they are canon and they have to be together and stuff. Sometimes his kinda things make me dislike kirk/spock seriously.
I don't really understand it either. I have no problem with Kirk/Spock, I just don't like the hate that the other pairings get from some of the fans. It's strange. :/ It seems like the Star Trek fandom is open-minded in every other way except with regards to that pairing. I don't really feel like I'm part of the fandom at all.
Same here really...same here They need to be more tolerant seriously :I That remind me that stupid phrase i dont know if you have heard that before but it goes like this: "straight is the new gay" :/ oh geez...
np C: (heh, I heard Abrams paired Spock and Uhura just because Zach is gay and didn't want everyone freaking and angsting because new Spock is gay, but I rarely belive rumors.) I was really into them until I finally watched the TOS movies. *Robin is such a doll, met her last Mega <3*
Eh, I think that the decision was Lindelof's and I think he did it because he thought the dynamic was interesting. Quinto isn't officially out (or, as far as I can tell, particularly interested in coming out to the public) so I don't think that that would have been a motivator for Abrams. Plus, Nimoy approved. I love the ToS movies, and all of ToS, of course.
